Mónica Argote
Co-Founder & CEOShe was an engineer. She didn't like it. So she did what any reasonable person would do: quit everything and start a record label. Now she runs Banned 21 Records and tries to make our worst ideas sound fantastic.

Eight songs about getting older without turning boring. Pop-punk, bad Mondays, great nights, terrible decisions and just enough heart to make it all hurt.

02 // The bands
Three members. One bad idea.
NAVARRE // POP-PUNK
A pop-punk trio from Navarre, partying hard and determined to grow without growing old. Songs about nights that run long, Mondays that never end, and the magnificent mess of growing up without forgetting how to have fun.
He came from Sheffield as a child. His grandfather was from Vitoria-Gasteiz. He has a gift for turning the worst Mondays into songs.
Swedish father, mother from Estella-Lizarra. She keeps the beat going when everyone else has already lost count of the rounds.
From Corpus Christi, Texas. Bass, backing vocals and shirts that are louder than the amplifiers.

03 // An extremely unofficial manifesto
Banned 21 Records is an independent label for bands with something to say, and apparently it needs to be said loudly. Different bands. Different sounds. Zero enthusiasm for acting your age.
04 // The people behind the noise
B21 // Founding teamThree co-founders. One independent record label.
She was an engineer. She didn't like it. So she did what any reasonable person would do: quit everything and start a record label. Now she runs Banned 21 Records and tries to make our worst ideas sound fantastic.
He started out managing small bands, the kind that played to twenty people and got paid in beer. One tiny venue after another, armed with contacts nobody quite knows how he got, he ended up at Banned 21 Records. Now he scouts talent and looks after the bands. Curiously, he's never around when the amps need carrying.
She used to be a journalist. Now she makes sure other journalists talk about our bands. She handles press, communications and promotion at Banned 21 Records. Making noise is easy. Getting someone to listen is another matter.

The catalogue is just getting started
